In recognition of its commitment to quality, leadership and excellence in the heating,
ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) industry, Provincial Heating & Cooling Inc. recently received the 2016 President’s Award from Carrier at a ceremony in Huntington Beach, CA. This marks the second year that the Winnipeg firm has won the award–in 2015, Provincial Heating & Cooling was the first Canadian company to receive the award.

Provincial Heating & Cooling Inc. specializes in both residential and commercial HVAC system applications. Bolstered by a strong digital footprint and NATE-certification (North American Technical Excellence), the owners of Provincial have set a new standard in Canada for delivering premiere quality products coupled with a truly exemplary standard of customer service, according to a release from Carrier.

A second Canadian firm was among the 2016 winners. “Service in Hours, Not Days” has been Pope & Sons Refrigeration’s motto for over 35 years, with a reputation for customer service that just keeps raising the bar year over year. The firm specializes in residential and commercial HVAC applications, including a prominent offering of eco-friendly geothermal systems. A Carrier contractor since 1994, Pope & Sons is one of Canada’s longest-tenured Factory Authorized Dealers (since 2004).

“David and Chad’s customer-first mantra and diversified business approach have elevated Pope and Sons from an already strong presence on Vancouver Island into a model Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer. Pioneers in the HVAC/R industry, they have excelled in providing exceptional home comfort solutions, service levels and are truly adept at marketing their business,” said Paul Davignon, president and general manager of Carrier Enterprise Canada.

“Pope and Sons have carved out quite a niche presence in Pacific Canada, in showcasing a determination to continue evolving with dedication to enhanced training and exceptional service quality,” added Davignon.

The President’s Award is designed to encourage Carrier’s dealers to take a fresh perspective on their business and to reward dealers who have excelled in customer satisfaction. Recipients serve as role models, share best practices and offer peer mentoring to help cultivate excellence across the Carrier dealer group. The award is given to Carrier Factory Authorized Dealers who demonstrate technical expertise while serving as leaders for the Carrier brand and raising the standard for equipment sales. The winning dealerships are committed to service excellence and providing exceptional customer care.
