ECCO Supply commercial sales manager receives ASHRAE Distinguished Service Award

Norm Grusnick, who is commercial sales manager at ECCO Supply in Burnaby, BC, was presented with an ASHRAE Distinguished Service Award at ASHRAE’s 2015 Annual Conference in Atlanta, GA. ASHRAE president Tom Phoenix presented the award at the conference award gala June 27. Distinguished Service Awards are presented to individuals who meet 15 service points demonstrating faithful service to the Society with distinction on committees, or who otherwise give freely of their time and talent on behalf of the Society. Douglas Cochrane, engineering sales manager with Carrier Enterprise Canada in Mississauga, ON and Robert Craddock, managing director, Inland Metal in Regina, SK, were also among the award recipients.
Grusnick says his most meaningful work with the ASHRAE is mentoring and directing young engineers. In addition to ASHRAE, he is a member of the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association (SMACNA), and the Mechanical Contractors Association of BC (MACBC). Grusnick has worked for ECCO Supply for 22 years.
