Appointment reflects LWT commitment to integrating plumbing brands

Earl Ducharme has been promoted to vice president, trade for Lixil Water Technology Canada (LWT). His promotion is considered the first step towards absolute integration of the American Standard, DXV and Grohe brands, as he will be assuming responsibility for all three brands within the commercial space. This includes wholesale distribution, showrooms and boutiques in Canada. Ducharme, who will head demand creation, sales activities and overall profitability for Lixil brands, will  harmonize of the sales and channel marketing teams to create a selling organization that will support all three brands.

BACKGROUND

The Lixil Group’s Lixil Water Technology (LWT) business was launched April 1, 2015. It has annual sales of about US$5.0 billion. LWT attributes its dominant market position to its multi-brand range that includes Grohe and American Standard Brands. It is establishing a presence across global markets with sales channels throughout North America, Asia, Europe, and Africa. It is headquartered in Luxembourg and operates across 150 countries, manages two research and development centres of excellence – in Germany and Japan – and manufactures products across 50 production facilities worldwide.
