As the March winner of Lochinvar’s Nashville Experience VIP Installation Showcase, Charlie Sarkis of A. Tech Mechanical in Welland, ON will head to Nashville in June for the CMA Country Music Festival. Sarkis’ entry in the VIP Installation Showcase, which is housed on Lochinvar’s Facebook page as well as on www.knightheatingboiler.com, described an installation at a 10,000 square foot home in Saint Catharines, ON. He and his team selected two KNIGHT heating boilers with inputs of 150,000 Btuh for the job, which included five zones of radiant in-floor heating and two high-velocity air handlers. In his entry, Sarkis described the installation as a “Primary/secondary loop with a simple relay control to interlock the pumps for the different temperatures between 75 degrees Fahrenheit for the basement, 80 to 95 degrees for the home’s second and third floor, and 140 degrees for when the air handlers are needed.”
Andrew Vander Zwaag of Macatawa Radiant, Inc. in Zeeland, MI was also selected in the monthly drawing.
April is the last month of the VIP Installation Showcase. Submit entries through the end of the month by uploading a photo and brief description of any qualified boiler or boiler/Squire combination installation. Entries are featured in a gallery where Facebook users can vote for their favourite installation. Alternatively, contractors can enter and vote on www.knightheatingboiler.com. The top three entries with the most votes each month are selected as finalists, and a panel of Lochinvar judges chooses the monthly winner. New and repeat entries can be submitted each month for additional chances to win.
