Canada’s largest plumbing, HVAC/R, hydronic, electrical and lighting expo was back for another year on April 22 and 23. Students, manufacturers, suppliers and contractors took to MCEE 2015 at Place Bonaventure in Montreal for an opportunity to show and view the latest industry products. In addition, educational sessions were held as part of the jam-packed itinerary.
More than 6000 visitors attended the show where 390 exhibitors from across Canada, the U.S. and overseas were on hand with their latest product offerings.

Flir Systems Canada won the Product of the Year and Tools award for its thermal imaging system in the New Product Competition. For a full slate of winners, check out HPAC May at www.hpacmag.com. Benoit De Gagné-Marcouillier, of Plomberie G&G Limitee in Montreal, was the winner of the Great Tool Takeaway (Raflez les outils). The contest was held by Plomberie, Chauffage & Climatisation (HPAC‘s French-language sister publication) to commemorate its 10th anniversary. The winner was drawn from almost 900 entries by Claude Robitaille, CIPH Quebec Region coordinator.

The next edition of MCEE will take place April 26 and 27, 2017 in Montreal. MCEE is produced by the Corporation of Master Pipe Mechanics of Quebec (CMMTQ), the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH), Corporation of Master Electricians of Quebec (CMEQ), and the Corporation des entreprises en traitement de l’air et du froid (CETAF), with support from EFC Quebec and IES Montreal.
