Navien’s NCB Series condensing combi-boiler was awarded the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH) Innovation Award at the MEET trade show in Moncton, NB. The award was presented on May 7, 2014 – the first day of the two-day Mechanical Electrical Electronic Technology show.

“This honour further recognizes Navien’s innovative leadership position in the home comfort mechanical systems market segment as it follows the 2013 AHR Expo Innovation Award for the NPE-A Condensing Tankless Water Heater series and the 2014 Hot 50 Product Award by Green Builder Media and the AHR Expo Innovation Honorable Mention Award for the NPE-S Tankless Water Heater series,” said Ann Woodard, marketing manager.

NCB boilers have dual inputs of 120k Btuh of heating, 199k Btuh of DHW capacity, and the ability to link with NPE series tankless water heaters for expanded DHW delivery. According to the manufacturer, the boiler series enables contractors to offer a complete package for whole home heating, as well as the hot water to satisfy the lifestyle of today’s consumers.
