TSSA announces revised fee structure

The Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) recently completed a review of its fees and revised fee schedules will come into effect as of May 1, 2013. Over the next three years boiler and pressure vessel (BPV) customers will see an average increase of 3.1 per cent compared to other sectors where the increase will be equivalent to 1.9 per cent. The separate travel surcharge will remain in place for BPV but will be removed for Fuels and other sectors. There will be a reduction in Propane Level 1 Risk and Safety Management Plan (RSMP) application and renewal fees.
