Uponor offers fire sprinkler system online training

Uponor North America now provides online access to its AquaSAFE Level I fire sprinkler training course. The course was previously only available in the classroom at Uponor Academy in Apple Valley, MN.
The online course consists of nine videos and takes approximately two hours to complete. After plumbers receive their Level I online training certificate, they are ready for Level II jobsite training, which can be coordinated through an Uponor manufacturer’s representative.
Uponor’s AquaSAFE system features crosslinked polyethylene (PEX) tubing to supply water to the sprinklers, as well as the cold-water plumbing fixtures in a home. Each time homeowners use a cold-water plumbing fixture, water is also available to the sprinklers if it is ever needed in the event of a fire.
