Kevin Fullan, general manager – plumbing and HVAC/R (Ontario & Atlantic) has announced Wolseley Canada Inc.’s acquisition of Tackaberry Heating Supplies Limited, an HVAC/R distributor and sheet metal fabricator with four locations in Eastern Ontario.
Headquartered in Kingston with additional branches in Belleville, Brockville and Cornwall, Tackaberry boasts a 50-year history of providing high-quality HVAC/R products and services. As a result of the acquisition, approximately 50 Tackaberry employees join Wolseley.
Mike Spies will join Wolseley as a branch area manager and Paul Tackaberry will join Wolseley as a branch manager. Frances Tackaberry will remain with the business for a short time to assist with the transition and integration.

With the purchase of Tackaberry, Wolseley now operates in Belleville and has an expanded presence in Brockville, Cornwall and Kingston. The Tackaberry branches will continue to operate under the Tackaberry brand for the immediate future.
