Canadian refrigeration community gathers in Toronto

The Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) Canada held its 2015 Seminar and Annual General Meeting on November 6 to 7 at Humber College, North Campus in Toronto, ON.

The event opened with Andre Patenaude director – CO2 business development, Emerson Climate Technologies, discussing applications for CO2 refrigerants. Patenaude, who has over 30 years of marketing, sales and technical service experience, also has significant experience with various refrigeration system architectures, system applications, contractor/installation processes, and component technologies.

Other speakers on the RSES program included Roy Liew-Kie-Song of Yaskawa America Inc. who shared his expertise on HVAC VFD drives. Ian Allison of Lennox Industries presented Lennox Prodigy Training and Phil Boudreau of Bitzer Canada tackled start-up and commissioning of commercial/industrial compressors.

Organizers were pleased with the turnout for the seminar and annual general meeting and look forward to an even better showing for RSES Canada’s 2016 meeting.
