Contractors invited to weigh in on issues facing the HVAC/R industry

HRAI opens up its product section meetings.

The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) is opening up its Annual Product Section meeting to its contractor members. Scheduled for April 16 at Four Points by Sheraton in Mississauga, ON, the event features four product breakout sessions, including indoor air quality, heating and air conditioning, refrigeration, and geothermal.

The meeting opens at 9 a.m. with speaker Brian Thwaits, who will help attendees learn better learning and communication skills. Robert Hogue, who is a senior economist from RBC, will then discuss the short-term and long-term Canadian economic conditions.

At the Industry Reality Check Session, HRAI members will have the chance to get involved and engage in dialogue on current issues of concern. Share your perspectives on: career development challenges; the new refrigerant landscape and its affect the Canadian economy, consumers, supply chain and HRAI members; the development of an industry-led standard for installation quality; and raising the profile of the HVAC/R industry with the Canadian public.
