Aqua-Tech to rep Xylem product lines in Ontario

Xylem Applied Water Systems and Aqua-Tech Sales and Marketing Inc. have announced that Aqua-Tech will represent Bell & Gossett – Residential HVAC Product Group, McDonnell & Miller and Hoffman Specialty products in Ontario. The manufacturer’s representative will be working with the existing service contractor and wholesale distribution network to enhance sales and marketing support for these products.

Aqua-Tech Sales and Marketing Inc. has been a manufacturer’s representative since 1980 and this announcement represents a milestone in the company’s achievements to date. “The residential HVAC product mix from Bell & Gossett along with the McDonnell & Miller and Hoffman Specialty products provides a significant amount of synergy with our other product offerings,” said Bill Palamar, president and CEO of Aqua-Tech.

Chris Hartwick, managing director for Xylem Applied Water Systems in Canada said “Having Aqua-Tech on board will provide us with the support and expertise we need to grow our business in Ontario and to secure our presence in this market.”

In a release issued by the two companies, Tim Main, Xylem’s market development manager for residential HVAC products in Canada reported that “An exciting time is upon us as we embark on this new relationship to bring the Bell & Gossett, McDonnell & Miller and Hoffman brand support in Ontario to new levels.”

“The original red pump company is back in the Ontario marketplace with the representation that it needs to support the residential HVAC client base,” added Jason Lake, central region manager for Xylem AWS–Canada.

This new venture between Aqua-Tech and Xylem is expected to prompt a renewal for the brands in Ontario.
