CIPHEX West and BUILDEX Express to co-locate

April 12, 2016 | By HPAC

CIPHEX West and BUILDEX Express are co-locating at the Vancouver Convention Centre in Vancouver, BC for their November 2016 shows.

CIPHEX West is a two-day trade show and conference that is produced by the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH). It is slated for November 2 and 3. BUILDEX Express, which is produced by Informa, is an event for the construction property management, interior design and architecture industries that is being held on November 3.

CIPHEX will have over 30,000 square feet of exhibits and will feature a full conference program, a new product showcase, the Canadian Hydronics Conference and the new Executive Summit. The program features two workshops with John Siegenthaler and more hours of hydronics training than ever before.

“CIPH is always looking for new ways to provide even more value for exhibitors and visitors, so I’m pleased to announce that we are adding some exciting new programs,” said Siân Smith (Noble Corporation), CIPH chairman of the board. “Our exhibitors are interested in reaching a diverse audience, including engineers, building managers, and home builders, in addition to our traditional audiences of contractors and wholesalers. The new events and programs at CIPHEX West 2016 offer specialized education and networking opportunities for these key industry members.”

“CIPH is making a significant investment in new programming at CIPHEX West, as part of our commitment to increase the return-on-investment for our exhibitors,” added CIPH BC Region president Tim Main of Xylem Applied Water Systems. “Top quality programs attract the key decision-makers that exhibitors need to meet – and that’s exactly what we’re delivering in 2016.”

New for 2016 is the HVAC/R & Plumbing Design Forum with sessions for plumbing and HVAC/R engineers as well as wholesalers, builders, developers and general contractors. The Plumbing & HVAC/R seminar stream has been expanded with more sessions on business skills for heating and plumbing contractors, wholesalers and general contractors. The Canadian Water Quality Association (CWQA) Water Treatment Workshop will be of interest to water treatment and plumbing professionals.
