Ontario Geothermal Association Conference 2022 – Closing the Loop

The Ontario Geothermal Association (OGA) is holding its Closing the Loop Conference/trade show on April 26th, at the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale. This event will bring together municipal advisors, HVAC/R professionals, consulting engineers and designers, as well as developers, educators and utilities to network and collaborate on initiatives that will help Canada reach its 2030 and 2050 climate action goals.
The day-long conference, including a buffet breakfast, lunch and networking reception, will feature a keynote delivered by Jean-Phillippe Hardy of Dunsky Energy Consulting and Martin Luymes, VP of Government and Stakeholder Relations with HRAI, on the subject of how ground source heat pumps could play a role in helping Canada achieve its 2050 net zero targets.
Other sessions will include examples of geothermal retrofit projects in rental buildings and condos, identifying ways to accelerate municipal climate action implementation, and motivating residential contractors to embrace decarbonization objectives.
