How can mechanical, electrical and plumbing contractors capitalize on the Federal 2030 Emissions Reduction Plan, which outlines an ambitious goal of reducing carbon emissions across the country by 40% by 2030?

That was the motivation behind a special panel discussion “The Road to 2030: Trades Contractors and the Federal 2030 Emissions Reduction Plan”, hosted by HPAC and Electrical Business magazines hosted earlier this Spring.

As an Addendum to that conversation, we invited subject matter experts Harold Ruckpaul and Pushpinder Rana of Eaton and Mitsubishi Electric Heating & Cooling, respectively, to join us for a follow-up discussion.

Together, these experts lend their unique perspectives to the emissions reduction conversation, and help direct our skilled trades audiences to areas of opportunity.

The conversation first establishes whether emissions reduction, net zero, etc., are “a thing” or just a passing fancy.

From there, the discussion delves into the education and training required to both install and sell the solutions of tomorrow.

The entire conversation can be viewed below.
