Premium in-line air filters can trap many particles (no gasses) down to 0.1 microns in some cases. Such filters rely on a decent return air system and they get dirty quickly. End-users should be prepared to clean the filter elements every 60 days. Use the same schedule for HRV filters; clean HRV core every six months.
