groundEfficiency Canada is launching a 12-week series of free webinars  “Weekly DiscoverEE Sessions” that will run every Friday at noon (eastern time), and consist of a 20-minute presentation followed by a 25-minute community discussion along with a question & answer session.

The first session, running at noon, Friday May 14th, is entitled “Reframing the Policy Discussion on Ground Source Heat Pump Systems: New Considerations”.

This webinar will focus on a report released by Dunsky Energy Consulting last fall called The Economic Value of Ground Source Heat Pumps for Beneficial Electrification. The report was prepared for the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) and highlights the unique benefits of ground source heat pump (GSHP) systems to the long-term development and management of a sustainable electricity grid.

Session speakers for this first session will include: Martin Luymes, vice president, Government & Stakeholder Relations, HRAI and Jean-Phillippe Hardy of Dunsky Energy Consulting.
