Register today: The Road to 2030 – A Free Online Panel Discussion

April 13, 2022 | By HPAC Magazine

Join us Monday, April 25 between 1-2 p.m. (eastern time) for a free online panel discussion about how the industry can get out ahead of pending regulatory policies and standards to meet 2030 emissions reductions.

The Federal 2030 Emissions Reduction Plan outlines an ambitious goal of reducing carbon emissions across the country by 40% (from 2005 levels) by 2030.

The plan introduces the Canada Green Buildings Strategy, which will include new policy, programs, incentives and standards to drive a massive retrofit of existing building stock, and new construction to zero-carbon standards.

How can mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) contractors benefit?

Join us for this special, timely panel discussion on how the industry—specifically mechanical and electrical contractors, both residential and commercial—can get out ahead of these pending regulatory policies and standards, and work toward these goals before the actual legislation and mandates start rolling in.

This live discussion, taking place Monday, April 25 between 1-2 p.m. (eastern time) will include time for questions and answers.

Our special guest panelists include:

  • Kevin Spencer, vice-president, energy solutions, Modern Niagara
  • Martin Luymes, vice-president, government & stakeholder relations, HRAI
  • Jeremy Sager, senior HVAC and renewables research engineer, CanmetENERGY (NRCan)
  • Gurvinder Chopra, vice-president standards & regulations, Electro-Federation Canada

Join us, and bring your questions to this free online panel discussion, being presented by HPAC magazine and Electrical Business magazine and sponsored by Mitsubishi Electric Heating and Cooling and EATON.
