Deadline approaches for ASHRAE 2019 conference, technical papers

ASHRAE has announced a call for papers for its 2019 annual conference

Abstract submissions are due August 21, 2018. If accepted, final papers will be due November 30, 2018. Technical papers – 30-pages maximum, to be published in ASHRAE Transactions – are also due August 21, 2018.

The association is also offering an extended abstract option, due February 9, 2019, for the 2019 Annual Research Summit track.

Extended abstracts accepted for the Research Summit may be published in Science and Technology for the Built Environment, ASHRAE’s research journal. Authors may receive an invitation to submit a full-length paper for the journal.

The 2019 conference will be held in Kansas City, MO from June 22-26 at the Kansas City Marriott and Kansas City Convention Center.

Tracks include HVAC/R systems and equipment selection, engineering applications, systematic optimization techniques, commissioning of new and existing buildings, occupant health and safety, building modeling, professional development and radiant heating and cooling. www.ashrae.org/kansascity
