Canadian Jeff Thorman, a general contractor from Ottawa and the face of Home RenoVision DIY, hosts a mini documentary in collaboration with Midea America and Warner Bros. Discovery exploring how a home renovation in the cold climate of Alaska can positively impact the lives of people in need.

Called, “Project Homestead,” the short film features the renovation of Willow Ranch, a residential facility near Willow, Alaska operated by Hope Community Resources, a provider of support services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, mental health challenges and complex medical conditions in Alaska.

The mini-movie involves the installation of a cold-climate heat pump system, which will provide heat for this important household for years.
