This past Saturday the 10th annual Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer, in support of the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, raised just over $2-million helping send a clear message towards the mission of conquering cancer. 115 teams and roughly 1400 players were in attendance during the day-long event.

Next Plumbing and Hydronics Supply was awarded the Corporate Challenge Cup for contributing the most funds. Through generous support from staff, friends & family, industry, customers, vendor sponsorship and fundraising events, the company delivered over $420,000.

Another incentive saw the top fundraising teams in the tournament draft a celebrity that would face-off with their team. Next Plumbing and Hydronics Supply had 4 teams who achieved that goal drafting hockey personalities: Ken Reid, Jeremy Roenick, Carlo Coliacavo and Laura Fortino.

The event supports The Princess Margaret, which is the largest comprehensive cancer centre in Canada and one of the top five cancer research centres in the world.
