The American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) is holding the inaugural meeting of its Toronto Chapter on September 10, 2014. Slated for a 6 p.m. start at the Holiday Inn, Toronto Airport East, the event will be an opportunity to network and learn more about the Chapter and ASPE. A panel discussion on Canadian low-lead regulations will clarify how your business will be affected by changes to low-lead plumbing requirements in Canada. Kevin Wong, Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH) program coordinator and Kevin Ernst, chair of the CSA B125 Technical Committee on Plumbing Fittings and chair of the Plumbing Industry Advisory Council (PIAC) of CIPH will discuss the current status of low-lead plumbing product regulations in Canada, what products are affected, and the current state of industry readiness for low-lead plumbing product compliance.
