
AtlasCare, which is headquartered in Oakville, ON, has announced the appointment of Michael Grochmal as the company’s new president, effective November 1, 2012.
“The official appointment has been a long time coming,” said Roger Grochmal who has been president of AtlasCare since he acquired the company in 1986.
“He has been successfully fulfilling many of the responsibilities of company president for some time as part of a long-term succession plan for the business.” He will be supported in the new role by a management team at AtlasCare comprised of Dick Thomas, vice president installations; Jim Wilkins, service division manager; Steve Crozier, customer care manager; Tony Dagg, controller; and Ken Dietz, employee care manager.
Under the new company structure, Roger Grochmal will serve as chairman and CEO of AtlasCare and will be responsible for the strategic growth initiatives of the company.
AtlasCare has served the Greater Toronto Area for more than 80 years as a residential heating, cooling and indoor comfort contractor and is Ontario’s only independent residential contractor to achieve the ISO quality standard.
