January 29, 2014 | By HPAC Magazine

The 7th Canadian Geothermal Heat Pump Business & Policy Forum will be held in Montréal, QC on May 16, 2014 at the Fairmont Hotel – The Queen Elizabeth and organizers have issued a call for speakers. The geothermal industry is approaching a point where  a common understanding of system optimization – both technical and financial – is required. At this year’s event the Canadian GeoExchange Coalition will engage stakeholders to come up with ways to improve system performances and achieve sustainable energy savings. There will be industry dialogue and debate over a broad range of topics that have a direct influence on commercial system performance such as standards and regulations, technical advancements, financial considerations, best practices, and so on. Speakers interested in driving the discussions are invited to submit their ideas for presentations to the Conference Secretariat before February 28, 2014 in writing at info@geoexchange.ca.
