Mike Cliffe, a mechanic at Sensible Heating and Air Conditioning in Brampton, ON, was presented a brand-new GMC Savana van as part of the Canadian Mechanical and Plumbing Exposition (CMPX) Win A Van contest.

Cliffe’s ballot was drawn at random on March 23, 2018, the last day of CMPX. Dennis Kozina, show chairman, and Warren Heeley, Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute (HRAI) president, selected the winning ballot.

The van was presented at Applewood Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC in Mississauga, ON. It features a custom racking interior by Farmbro, a commercial vehicle uplifter based in Mississauga, ON.

Also on hand for the van presentation were Jeff Monforton, GMC Canada central region operations manager, Barb Tate, fleet manager at Applewood Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC, and Eddie Stoncius, national account manager of specialty vehicles at Farmbro.

Jointly produced since 1972 by HRAI and CIPH, CMPX  is Canada’s national trade show and Learning Forum for the mechanicals industry including: air-conditioning, heating (forced-air and hydronics), plumbing, waterworks, water quality, piping, refrigeration and ventilation industries.  The next CMPX show will be March 25 to 27. www.cmpx.ca
