The Canadian-based valve manufacturer made donations to CMMTQ and MCAC to support education and training programs.

dahl Valve Ltd. has announced donations to the Corporation of Master Pipe-Mechanics of Quebec – CMMTQ (Corporation des maîtres mécaniciens en tuyauterie du Québec) in support of their educational programs for the plumbing and hydronic heating trades, as well as to the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada (MCAC) to support its plumbing and hydronic heating trades education and training programs, for their students and members.

As part of the company’s yearly Corporate Giving Program, dahl has been marking World Plumbing Day, March 11, with donations to these two associations for the past few years.

This year, the valve manufacturer has donated $1,000 to CMMTQ and $2,400 to MCAC to encourage and support young people who want to pursue a career in the trades.

“We are doing our modest part to support the local plumbing and heating training programs that shapes the future of our industry, said Don Watt, president of dahl Valve, in a company release.
