Edmonton top green home builder partners with The Holmes Group

Effect Home Builders is the recipient of the 2012 Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) National Green Home Award for its Belgravia NetZero Energy Home, a new home that produces as much energy as it consumes. Located at 11536 – 74 Avenue, Edmonton, AB, the show home is open by appointment. New home builders, renovators and developers from across Canada celebrated achievements in the housing industry at the awards ceremony, which was a highlight of the recent CHBA 70th National Conference in Lake Louise, AB. Presented by Schlage and Trane, the CHBA National SAM Awards recognize outstanding performance in new homes and renovation design, innovative technology and construction techniques, and outstanding marketing and sales activities. Effect Home Builders and The Holmes Group have also formed a partnership in The Holmes Approved Homes program. Effect is the first Edmonton homebuilder to be awarded this partnership.
