Engie acquires les controles ac

Les Controles AC offers full building automation installation, integration and optimization services and electromechanical maintenance.

Engie Services has acquired Quebec-based digital controls company Les Controles AC to expand its operations in North America. Engie has had a 50 per cent interest in the company for over 10 years.

Les Controles AC’s entire management team will remain on board and the company will remain an individual entity within Engie. The company employs close to 150 people in its Laval, QC and Levis, QC offices. Energie expects the acquisition to create new jobs and allow Les Controls AC to expand.

“The need for Controles AC to grow and Engie Services’ determination to expand its business operations by adding complementary services, combined with the benefits to be generated by pooling our operations, were all factors in forging closer links between our two companies,” said Jean-Luc Billiani, president and CEO of Engie. www.engie.com
