Exciting and challenging times ahead for supermarket refrigeration

An afternoon symposium presented by Emerson on March 18, the day prior to CMPX 2014, focused on the dynamic nature of the refrigerant landscape from a global, North American and Canadian perspective. Speakers addressed refrigerant legislation in Europe and its influence on refrigerant choices and the impact it’s having on system architecture. This session looked at the increased use of propane, ammonia and CO₂ and informed the full house of attendees about the latest developments in refrigeration. Held at the Maple Leaf Theatre in the CN Tower in Toronto, ON the symposium featured Emerson Climate Technologies’ experts Andre Patenaude, who was also a speaker at CMPX, Paul Farrant and Rajan Rajendran.
