Monetary prize, a trip and school donation up for grabs

hilmor has launched its third annual Retool Your Future Scholarship Contest. The contest has received more than a thousand student entries from hundreds of trade schools since its origin two years ago. The scholarship contest awards six grand prizes consisting of a $5,000 scholarship, a trip to the 2016 AHR EXPO in Orlando, FL and innovative hilmor tools. In addition, a hilmor Green Wall with more than 40 HVAC/R tools valued at $5,000 will be donated to the winners’ schools.

To enter the Retool Your Future contest, students who are currently enrolled in or have applied for admission into an established, recognized HVAC/R school, can submit a 250-word essay explaining how the HVAC/R industry will “retool their life.” The contest opened August 1, 2015 and closes October 31, 2015.
