HRAI presents David Weishuhn with Award of Merit

Humbled by the honour, Weishuhn says he is “standing on the shoulders of giants.”

The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) has announced that its annual Merit Award, recognizing individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the development and progress of HRAI and the Canadian HVACR industry, has been presented to David Weishuhn, president of Blue Flame Heating & Air Conditioning and immediate past-chair of HRAI and chair of HRAI’s Contractors Division (2017-2018).
The award was announced by 2019-2020 HRAI Chair, Dennis Kozina, during the Manufacturers Division annual general meeting (AGM), held virtually via Zoom, on October 1.
In a prepared video response, Weishuhn graciously accepted the award, saying that he was, “standing on the shoulders of giants,” and “humbled” when he looks at the long list of previous Merit Award winners.
