February 17, 2014 | By HPAC Magazine

Napoleon Fireplaces & Grills, and Heating and Cooling of Barrie, ON recently donated $125,000 to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) to help bring health care closer to home for Simcoe and Muskoka residents. The money will be used towards developing an advanced cardiac care program and a child and youth mental health program at the hospital. Stephen Schroeter, Napoleon’s senior vice president, said it is important to the company, as both a business and as members of the community, that their gift to RVH be used in areas where there is a current need for treatment. “80 per cent of RVH’s cardiac patients now have to travel to Newmarket for advanced cardiac care,” he said. “We want to help ensure residents have access to high quality, safe health care that fulfills their needs within their own community.”
