NB Power calls for award nominations, hosts Energizing Efficiency conference

Hosted by NB Power, the conference is open to New Brunswick professionals and students in the energy efficiency, housing and environmental sectors.

Nominations are open for the NB Power 2018 Energy Efficiency Excellence Awards.

Categories include:

• Legacy Award: Recognizes support of the energy efficiency industry and influence on energy use reduction in New Brunswick.
• Innovation Award: Recognizes an energy efficiency or renewable energy project in New Brunswick.
• Partnership Award: Recognizes best practices in helping NB Power deliver energy efficiency program.
• Community Award: Recognizes a community in New Brunswick that has demonstrated commitment to energy efficiency.
• Rising Star Award: Recognizes an individual or group under 30 years old that has demonstrated commitment to energy efficiency.
• Education Award: Recognizes implementation of a program, campaign, project or strategy to increase knowledge on energy efficiency.

The awards will be presented on May 23, 2018 during the first Energizing Efficiency conference and awards, to be held in Fredericton, NB from May 23-24, 2018. www.efficiencyconference.com
