New Building Energy Code Compliance Survey Calls on Industry Professionals
By Logan CaswellHPAC General Human Resources Canada NRCan survey
Feedback will be used to estimate current rates of compliance with energy codes for large buildings.
Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is calling on Canadians to take part in a Canada-wide survey to collect information about energy code compliance for buildings. The questions seek input from industry professionals, practitioners and building officials with recent experience helping to demonstrate or enforce energy compliance for large buildings in Canada (commonly referred to as “Part-3 buildings”).
Feedback will be used to estimate current rates of compliance with energy codes for large buildings, to understand current obstacles to compliance, and to inform future efforts to improve energy code compliance across Canada.
The 15 minute survey is now open and can be found visiting: research.net.
The deadline to enter is January 2, 2023.
