“takeCHARGE” , a joint initiative of “Newfoundland Power” and “Newfoundland Labrador Hydro”, has announced a new HRV Rebate Program designed to increase the installation of higher efficiency HRV units in the residential market. Effective September 15, 2013, takeCHARGE will provide a $175 rebate for qualified HRV units with a sensible heat recovery efficiency (SRE) of 70 per cent or higher. In order to qualify for the rebate, the HRV unit must be installed by an individual who holds HRAI SkillTech Academy certification for Residential Mechanical Ventilation Installation.
