Oil heat professionals head to Halifax

The 2015 CleanerHeat Symposium is being held at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel on June 17 and 18. Six sessions top this year’s program activities following the Canadian Oil Heat Association’s (COHA) fifth annual golf tournament, which is scheduled for June 16 at Glen Arbour Golf Course.

Session speakers include: Sylvain Villeneuve, co-founder and owner of Vilco Ltd. and Superior Tanks Ltd.; Bill Fligg, president of Petro Buster Inc.; Matthew Gardner, associate lawyer at Wilms and Shier Environmental Lawyers LLP; Paul Rew, president and environmental engineer at Rubicon Environmental Inc.; Crane Stookey, a tall ship officer; Paul Seager, principal at HH Angus and Associates Ltd.; Stephen Koch, president of the Canadian Oil Heat Association; Michael Lio, president of BuildABILITY Corporation; and Don Huff, president of Environmental Communications Options.

A trade show, a Q and A session and COHA’s annual general meeting are also planned for the event. Registration has opened for the symposium.
