The Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) and the Ontario Geothermal Association (OGA) are holding a Ground Source Heating and Cooling Symposium on November 1, 2012 at the Earth Ranger’s Centre, Living City Campus at Kortright in Woodbridge, ON. The line-up includes presentations and discussion about the latest geothermal research and industry activities. Participants will hear about: recent activities of the OGA and Geocity Partnership; Regulation 98/12; research results from Ryerson and the University of Waterloo; case study findings; and a UK perspective. The agenda concludes with a 45-minute tour of the Archetype Sustainable House located on the property of the Living City Campus. This workshop is geared towards system designers, installers, architects, consultants, municipal staff, building owners and anyone with an interest in learning more about ground source heating and cooling system.
