Keith Farrell

Keith Farrell has joined the management team at Ontor Ltd. in the role of vice president, sales and marketing. Farrell brings over 30 years of HVAC industry experience, most recently as president of Riello North America, a Carrier company.

Rita Woodley

Noble recently promoted Rita Woodley to regional manager for the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Woodley moves into this role from her previous position as GTA sales manager. With Noble since 2015, she has more than 25 years of experience in the plumbing and HVAC/hydronics industry and now will be responsible for enabling synergies between the sales teams and branch network to increase Noble’s position in the GTA.

Darren Ince

Darren Ince has taken on the role of regional manager for North East Ontario (NEO) at Noble. Ince has held several sales positions since joining Noble in 2003, including regional manager for the GTA. In his new role, he will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance and building the future landscape for Noble’s NEO region.

Stan Liberty

The company has also promoted Stan Liberty to area manager for Northern Ontario. Liberty joined Noble in 2010 and most recently held the position of Barrie branch manager. In this new role, he will be responsible for expanding Noble’s branch network and overall footprint in Northern Ontario which is served by branches in Barrie and Gravenhurst today and a new Collingwood location opening this Fall.

Akbar Makalai

Wolseley announced the retirement of Akbar Makalai effective July 3, 2020. Makalai had over 40 years of experience in the industry and was a member of the Wolseley Canada leadership team since 2001. In 2017, he was the recipient of the CIPH Lifetime Service Award. He held several roles with Wolseley Canada including vice president, plumbing and HVAC/R; general manager, British Columbia; and vice president, Western Canada plumbing and waterworks. Most recently he was vice president, vendor relations.

Lauralie Heggie

HRAI has named Lauralei Heggie to the role of business development director. Heggie brings more than 20 years of experience in leading revenue growth initiatives in Canada as seasoned business development executive with expertise in member acquisition and retention strategies. Most recently she operated her own consulting company and in the past two years has been consulting on specific initiatives with the HRAI including the digitization of the educational offerings and playing a role in the association’s 2020 membership renewal program. She previously held several progressive roles at Star Media Group.

Patrick Aquino

Oatey has promoted Patrick Aquino to vice president of sales, wholesale plumbing. Aquino joined Oatey nearly five years ago as northeast regional sales manager, and most recently, was director of rough plumbing and commercial sales. With more than 15 years of experience in sales and business development, he will lead Oatey’s regional sales managers, commercial sales team and showroom sales team.
