New wholesaler focuses on filling voids and beating GTA traffic snarl

July 16, 2013 | By HPAC Magazine

Wholesale plumbing supply executives Michael Storfer and Brahm Swirsky have launched NEXT, a wholesale supplier focused on plumbing and hydronics.

The company expects to “rapidly establish a series of ‘local warehouses’ across the GTA , each with a full complement of inventory and strong delivery capabilities to meet the demands of its customer base.”

The aim is to help contractors overcome the challenges of working in a fast-growing and traffic-laden city.

NEXT has opened a warehouse to service the downtown core in the docks area at 17 Polson Street, in addition to an existing warehouse in Leaside at 55 Research Road, which was part of the Fulford Supply acquisition.

NEXT will open a 60,000 sq. ft. distribution centre at 161 Cidermill Avenue just north of Toronto in Vaughan later this month.

Over the next nine months the company is planning to open locations in Etobicoke (September), followed by Mississauga, Brampton, Scarborough and mid-town Toronto.
