As of now, there will be no on-site registration and proof of full vaccination status is required to attend the trade show.

Back and in person, the two-day CIPHEX West trade show is returning to Vancouver for 2021 and taking place Wednesday, November 4 and Thursday, November 5.

The largest event in Western Canada for the HVAC, plumbing, hydronics and water treatment industries, this year’s trade show is taking place in the Coliseum at the Pacific National Exhibition, a new location that offers free parking for attendees.

Not only is the parking free, registration for CIPHEX 2021 is also complimentary however pre-registration for the event is required. No on-site registration will take place during the days of the show.

“While the global pandemic put all CIPH live events on hold since March of 2020, industry members from manufacturers to wholesalers to contractors are telling us loud and clear that in-person events are critical to their business and they are eager to attend our trade shows again,” stated Ralph Suppa, president and general manager of the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH), the show organizers.

Safety Guidelines

Health and safety guidelines for CIPHEX West will adhere to Province of British Columbia directives. Because the global pandemic is ongoing requirements may be revised, but as of publication, by order of the Provincial Health Officer in B.C., proof of full vaccination status is required to attend CIPHEX West 2021.

Residents of B.C. can download the BC Vaccine Card showing proof of vaccination, and they will also be required to show valid personal ID. Canadian attendees from outside of B.C. will be able to provide their proof of vaccination (showing when they received their second dose) along with valid government-issued photo ID. International visitors can provide proof of vaccination they used to enter Canada along with a passport.

In addition, all exhibitors and visitors will be required to wear masks covering their mouth and nose at all times while inside the Pacific Coliseum. More details regarding masking guidelines will be released closer to the date of the show.

All visitors and exhibitors will also be asked to respect social distancing policies, and convenient hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the building and trade show floors.

Show organizers note that the busiest times at the trade show are traditionally during the first three to four hours each day, to avoid crowds attending in the afternoon is encouraged.

This year’s event will also include a series of seminars and workshops, all of the educational sessions will take place in the CIPHEX Theatre on the trade show floor, so seating is first come, first served.
