SaskPower offers rebates for qualifying commercial refrigeration equipment.
SaskPower is offering a rebate for the purchase of qualified, energy efficient, commercial refrigeration products. Rebates can cover up to 50 per cent of the purchase price for products such as:
• self-contained refrigeration units including refrigerators, freezers and display cases;
• electronically commutated motors (ECM motors);
• evaporator fan controllers;
• anti-sweat heater humidistat controls;
• night covers;
• strip curtains; and
• auto door closers for walk-in or reach-in freezers or coolers.
Make sure the refrigeration equipment qualifies by checking SaskPower’s qualified product list for retrofit and new construction projects, and retrofit only projects. Submit the completed application form along with receipts and an applicable product specification sheet. SaskPower will mail a cheque if you have met the requirements.
