The four free monthly webinars hosted by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority will focus on systems using biomass boilers and other renewable energy heat sources.
HPAC Magazine contributor John Siegenthaler, P.E., a well recognized expert in the field of hydronics, will be presenting a series of four free webinars hosted by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) on systems using renewable energy heat sources. “The educational sessions are focussed on biomass boiler systems but the content is applicable to a wide range of hydronic systems,” says Siegenthaler, author of Heating With Renewable Energy.
Occurring monthly, the session dates and topics include (all events are 1-2 pm, eastern time):
- August 20: Options for domestic water heating in biomass boiler systems
- September 17: Control concepts for hydronic systems using renewable energy heat sources (Part I)
- October 29: Control concepts for hydronic systems using renewable energy heat sources (Part II)
- November 12: Case study: pellet boiler system at the NYSDEC boat maintenance facility at Lake George
