Tarion has presented its 2018 Homeowner’s Choice Awards and second annual Ernest Assaly Award to Ontario builders.
Toronto-based real estate developer Tridel took home the 2018 Ernest Assaly Award.
The award recognizes a commitment to quality and innovation, as well as customer service and community involvement. Tarion’s board of directors selected four finalists in March.
Homeowner’s Choice Award winners for each category include:
- Small volume: Kolody Homes
- Medium volume: Talos Custom Homes
- Large volume: Hayhoe Homes
- High-rise: Plazacorp Investments
Homeowners’ Choice Awards are presented annually based on the results of surveys completed by new homebuyers from across the province.
In 2017, Tarion polled over 56,900 new homebuyers on builder performance before, during and after they moved into their new home. More than 11,500 homeowners responded. www.tarion.com
