Technicians to benefit from Dexter + Chaney and FieldConnect partnership

Dexter + Chaney, providers of Spectrum construction software, has announced a technology partnership agreement with FieldConnect, Inc., a mobile workforce platform that aims to streamline communication and improve workflow efficiency. From a tablet device, technicians using Spectrum and Field Connect’s mobile solutions, can see work orders assigned to them, read notes related to the client or job, access maps and directions, upload job site photos, collect electronic signatures, and more.
Andy Holtmann, marketing communications coordinator, Dexter + Chaney, said that currently there are 35 Canadian clients, ranging from general to heavy highway contractors, as well as electrical and mechanical contractors, using the program. Holtmann explained that although Dexter + Chaney has been delivering its Spectrum construction software for over 34 years, they are still relatively new to the Canadian market.
“We officially began selling there [in Canada] roughly three years ago, after ensuring that our software was fully compliant in Canada,” Holtmann said. He added that since the company entered Canada, business has flourished.
