IPVF reception and luncheon speaker tackles the issues around extracting oil and gas from shale.

The Industrial Pipe, Valves & Fittings Council (IPVF), a council within the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH), will hold a networking reception and luncheon on March 25 at the Oakville Holiday Inn Centre at 590 Argus Road in Oakville, ON. Titled Oil and Gas from Shale: The Promise and the Politics, the presentation aims to set the record straight on the benefits, the promise and the safety of natural gas and oil from shale. Keynote speaker Toby Mack is president and CEO of the  Energy Equipment and Infrastructure Alliance (EEIA). Prior to joning EEIA, he served as president and CEO of Associated Equipment Distributors, an international trade association representing companies supplying heavy equipment and related products and services to the construction, energy, mining and forestry industries in North America.
