Thermogenics grows presence in U.S. Southeast

The Ontario-based company has acquired Industrial Engineering of Orlando, Florida, an industrial boiler service provider.
Thermogenics, Inc., the Ontario-based solution provider for commercial and industrial boiler systems, providing service and maintenance, equipment sales, and rental solutions for its customers’ mission critical boilers, has expanded its presence in the southern U.S. with the acquisition of Industrial Engineering in Orlando, Florida.
Industrial Engineering is a full-service boiler company providing sales, service installation and repair of boilers, pressure vessels, piping systems and industrial combustion applications
In a media release, Cory Yown, regional general manager, U.S. Southeast for Yown’s Boiler Service, Inc., a Thermogenics Company, noted: “Seeking out partners within the Southeast region that share our commitment to providing full asset lifecycle solutions for our clients’ mission critical boilers, has been a key focus for us. The Industrial Engineering team was an excellent fit as we further develop our regional presence.”
This latest acquisition follows the addition of Plains Mechanical Services based in Sioux City, Iowa which Thermogenics announced in mid-April.
Thermogenics, headquartered in Aurora, Ont., was founded in 1975 and provides industrial and commercial steam and water boiler service operations Canada and the U.S.
