DiversiTech Corp., a manufacturer of equipment pads, air conditioner condenser pads and a supplier of installation and service components for air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical and swimming pool industries, has purchased Cliplight Manufacturing Company.
Cliplight is a Toronto-based innovator and manufacturer of HVAC/R sealants, work lights and battery charger products. Cliplight, which brings numerous brands to the DiversiTech portfolio, is known for its research and development capabilities and technical support.
These qualities, along with DiversiTech’s warehousing and distributing operations, are expected to provide improved shipping and ordering efficiencies, and an expanded geographical reach.
Founded in 1971, and headquartered in the Atlanta, GA metropolitan area, DiversiTech operates over one million square feet in multiple manufacturing and warehousing locations in North America, Europe and Asia. In 2015, The Jordan Company in partnership with the existing management team, acquired DiversiTech. The Jordan Company, with over $8 billion of cumulative equity commitments, is an investor in middle market industrial businesses.
