Pennsylvania-based contractor and industrial products wholesaler, AD, reported $37.3 billion in member sales in 2017 – a record-breaking year, according to the company.
AD saw a total company sales growth of 10 per cent, with same store sales up nine per cent in Canada, compared to eight per cent in the U.S. and 12 per cent in Mexico.
Sales of building materials grew 16 per cent, followed by electrical (10 per cent), PHCP (nine per cent) and industrial and PT (eight per cent).
Purchases from AD suppliers grew 17 per cent. Distributions to members were up 14 per cent.
AD’s e-commerce solutions saw 2.4 million SKUS across its six business units.
The company also reported that its procurement services saved members over $5 million in non-product purchases. Members spent close to $1 million on AD HR services. www.adhq.com
