HRAI hires technical advisor, appoints director of wholesaler board

HRAI has hired Mark Rippon as technical advisor. Rippon has worked for Sandpiper Energy and Reliance Comfort, both member companies of HRAI. He is a licensed sheet metal mechanic and gas technician.
Charles Abiad is the new director of HRAI’s wholesaler board for the region of Quebec. Abiad is the vice-president and general manager of Descair, based in Montreal, QC.
“As it is true for our industry, standards are constantly evolving. It is crucial to look after changes in order to better serve contractors – their interests, needs and requests,” said Abiad.
Prior to joining Descair, Abiad worked as a consultant. He also served as vice president and general manager of Johnson Controls.
