HRAI Queen’s Park Day March 2nd

The association is calling on members in Ontario to take part in their Queen’s Park Day to meet Ontario’s elected officials.
HRAI is asking members in Ontario to take part in their Queen’s Park Day on March 2nd.
This event will give people a chance to meet Ontario’s elected officials and discuss the issues that matter the most to the industry. Through participation, members can help shape a better future for the HVAC/R industry in Ontario by showcasing the talent and expertise our industry has the offer.
The event will take place on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 with meeting times ranging between 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (based on availability).
Required preparation/briefing session: to ensure participants feel confident and prepared for meetings, HRAI is asking participants to attend 1 pre-meeting virtual training session. Further details regarding the training sessions will be confirmed closer to the date.
HRAI is offering two prep session dates:
- Monday, February 28
- Tuesday, March 1
Issues HRAI are hoping to bring awareness to include:
- Introduction of a home and building retrofit program
- Improving ventilation and IAQ standards
- Supporting HVAC/R workforce development
- Eliminating municipal heating contractor licensing
